A few words
about us
Patria Life Community Church is about family.
A family of believers who are growing in their knowledge of the Word, their relationship with God and others and are equipping and empowering Believers to impact their community and the world with the gospel.
In Greek, the word for family is patria, which is derived from pater, the word for “father.” The concept of family originates with God.
This is God’s plan in the Earth. God wants a family. God’s kingdom consists of a family of Believers whose lives are changed by grace to the point that they demonstrate and manifest to the world His love, goodness, power and faithfulness by the power of the Holy Spirit at work in them. Because Jesus died for our sins, the barrier between God and man has been removed and we can now come boldly and confidently before Him. We can have a personal relationship with Him. That’s good news! That’s the gospel!
This is the purpose of Patria Life Community Church. We are a family of believers that know what God did for us through Jesus on the cross
- We are serious about having an authentic relationship with God and others not based on our works, good deeds or our own merits but by grace.
- We are stewards for God. We know that God pours His power and love into imperfect vessels so that we can demonstrate to others the same grace and love that He has shown us.
- We know that God does not want us to do life alone. His plan in the Earth is to have an intimate relationship with each one of us.
Ephesians 3:10-21
To the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places, 11 according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord, 12 in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him. 13 Therefore I ask that you do not lose heart at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— 19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. 20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
