Mission & Vision

A Church with a Vision – A Place for You

Our vision is to see individuals and families finding, growing in and fulfilling their God-given purpose both individually and as a part of the body of Christ.

The mission of Patria Life Community Church is to impact and influence our community by offering a place and an environment where people can:

What We Believe

Word of God

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God. It is divinely inspired, infallible, and fully authoritative. It is the final source for how to live life and what to believe.

2 Timothy 3:16-1, 2 Peter 1:20-21, Psalm 119:105, Psalm 9:7-11

The Trinity

We believe in one eternal God, existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.  The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are eternally self-existent, and self-revealed. Jesus Christ, who is God manifest in the flesh, is the second member of the Godhead, co-equal and co-eternal with the Father and the Holy Spirit

Genesis 1:26, Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19, Ephesians 4:6

Jesus Christ

We believe in the virgin birth and that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He lived a sinless life and died for our sins. His life was the perfect sacrifice for the atonement of our sins.

John 1:1, Acts 2:3-24

Forgiveness

We believe that we have all sinned and are in need of forgiveness. Man was created innocent, but through Adam’s transgression, sin came upon all men. Jesus Christ came to pay the penalty of man’s sin through His shed blood, so that all men can be saved by faith in Him. Salvation is by grace through faith. Grace may be simply stated as God doing for man what he could not do for himself in the person of Jesus Christ. Faith may be simply stated as man’s positive response to God’s grace.

John 3:16, Ephesians 2:8, Titus 3:5, Romans 3:23, 6:23, 10:8-10

Repentance

We believe that to receive forgiveness and to be “born again,” we must repent, confess our sins to God, believe in Jesus as our Lord and Savior, and, in doing so, we receive eternal life

2 Peter 3:9, 1 John 1:9, Romans 7:7

Healing

We believe that divine healing is the right and privilege of every believer, and it was provided for the church in the atonement.

Isaiah 53:5, Matthew 8:17, Mark 16:15-20, 1 Peter 2:24

Death Was Defeated

We believe Jesus rose from the dead, declaring victory over death and hell. He is now seated at the right hand of the Father.

Ephesians 1:20, Philippians 2:6-11, Hebrews 1:2-3

We Will Rise Again

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost.

Revelation 20:11-15

Present Day Ministry of the Holy Spirit

We believe in the present day ministry of the Holy Spirit. In obedience to Jesus’ command, Believers can and should be filled with the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in other tongues, and the Holy Spirit gives gifts to the church to be used in the present time.

Acts 2:4,17 Galatians 5:16-25, Hebrews 6:1, Acts 1:8, 2:4,17, 10:44-48

Water Baptism

We believe that every believer should be baptized in water following Christ’s example and in obedience to Christ’s command. In baptism, we are identifying with His death and resurrection.

Matthew 3:13-17, Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 16:15-16, Acts 8:35-37, 1, Romans 6:3-9, Colossians 2:11-12, 1 Peter 3:20-21

Jesus' Return

We believe that Jesus Christ will return for His church (His bride) as is recorded in the scripture.

John 14:3, Acts 1:9-1, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, 1 Corinthians 15:51-58
